ONUS always ensures security criteria for users through optimized smart features/utilities on the application. Below are the necessary actions to protect your account during ONUS use.

Activate Smart OTP

1. After logging in, the main screen will show a request to activate Smart OTP, select Activate Now

If not displayed, or want to reset Smart OTP, press the avatar icon (upper left corner of the screen), go to Settings and select Smart OTP

2. Enter the correct 4 digits of the code sent to your registered email address or phone number, then click Verify

3. After successful activation, press Continue to use the application

When activating the Smart OTP feature, each transaction instead of entering the OTP code received from email or phone number (SMS), you will get the OTP code generated right on the application to authenticate the transaction.

  • Smart OTP code appears automatically change every 30 seconds
  • This OTP code will be authenticated with only one device where the user is using the ONUS application
  • If you reset Smart OTP, your account will be locked with some features within 24 hours

Set up a new password

In case the login information is revealed or the password is forgotten when using the account, ONUS can assist users in creating a new password through the following 2 features.

Change Password

1. On the home screen, select the avatar icon (upper left corner)

2. Select the item Change Password

3. Enter the current password, create a new password and done

Forgot password

1. At the login screen, select Forgot Password

2. Enter the phone number/email registered for the account

3. Click Recover Password

4. The system will send a verification code to the phone number/email you have registered. After completing the authentication, you will have the right to change the new password.

Your asset withdrawal features will be locked within 24 hours of changing your password for security reasons.

Report Scam (Report Scam)

The Report Scam utility supports you to report fraudulent and fraudulent information right on the ONUS application.

At the main screen, select Report Scam  under Applications. The Report Fraud screen shows categories of reportable information. If you know the information of the scammer, please take the next steps

1. Enter required information in turn

(Provide accurate information and make sure it is the subject’s information)

2. In the Description, state the scam method, status and wish to resolve

3. Confirm the information and press Submit to report

Once the report is submitted and approved by Cystack , you will receive a reward of 1 WHC token/report from our Cystack partner.

About the Cystack utility

In order to thoroughly solve the community fraud cases, ONUS has collaborated with the cybersecurity company CyStack to launch a utility to prevent cyber security intrusion for all users. To enable this feature, follow the instructions

1. At the main screen, select CyStack at Utilities

2. Select Prevent Phishing to enable the feature

3. An introductory line will appear on the screen, please refer to it and press Register to use to activate

4. Select the appropriate service plan and click Confirm

5. The screen will display a notice of the amount to be paid for the service package, press Confirm to complete.

After activating the Cystack utility, when performing On-chain/Off-chain asset deposit transactions, the system will analyze the safety of the wallet address, the receiving account and issue a warning to the user. .

* CyStack provides users with three service packages by week, by month and by year, giving you a variety of choices. With each package, there will be a different service fee and is paid for by WHC Token.
